About Me

My name is Derrick Shwana. I am the fourth born in a family of six and am a married man with one child (son). I reside in Mwaiseni Nkana East of Kitwe, Copperbelt.
I completed my secondary education in 2014 and later on studied secondary teacher's Diploma.
I was struggling to feed my family as i was not working and hard no any source of income.
I started raising money by saving each day in my mobile wallet account. Currently am running and managing my own business which is sewing of clothes and uniforms as well as other sewing related materials.
I would love to improve my business as it is my lively source of income which enables me to feed my family as well as pay for my child's education.
i would love to secure my child's future financially through the business that am running currently.

My Business

Sewing of clothes and school uniforms is the current business that i am doing. I make and design clothes as well as school uniforms and then i put them on the market.
These goods i make and the services i provide are very important in my area as shorten the distance for customers to buy the products. instead of them travelling very far to get these services, i have brought the services at their door steps.
I choose this kind of business as it is my passion since i was a child and i also looked at the most needed services in my area.
The most typical cost include money to buy materials to use in my business.
I use my profit to reinvest into my business and then also pay for my child's education.

Project Proposal

This loan will help me to buy more sewing materials such as cottons, needles and other suiting materials.
