About Me

I am a 29-year-old born-again Christian. I have a degree in sales and marketing and a diploma in secretarial studies. The main aim of getting into business was to help my mum and younger sibling better their lives, since employment was not forthcoming. I started "Nthiga Fashion House" where I sell new clothes for women. We design the clothes ourselves and sell in supermarkets, malls and other outlets that sell women's clothes. I have 5 employees under me as well.

Besides singing, I am also a good guitar player. My hobbies include reading and watching movies.

My Business

I own "Nthiga Fashion House" where I sell new clothes for women. We design the clothes with my employees. The clothes are sold in supermarkets and malls, some are hawked and others sold to outlets that deal with women's clothes. We also design clothes for special occasions such as weddings, graduations and social gatherings.

I intend to start a clothes design school within my premises so that we can pass our skills to other people who have the zeal and talent. Our main source of income comes from selling the clothes designed at our fashion house.

The overhead costs include rent, salaries, buying raw materials and other miscellaneous expenses. On a good month, I can make up to $ 1,000 in profit.

Loan Proposal

Dear Lenders,

Hi everyone. First off, many thanks to all the lenders who have funded my two previous loans. I can't thank you enough.

This my third loan and I intend to use it to add more stock to my shop. At the moment I'm looking to use approx. Kes 30,000 ($300) for the stock part. Also, I want to diversify my business into selling fresh fruits and vegetables. I will use the remainder of the loan to set up a new stall and buy the fruits& veggies.

I have already identified the stall and paid one month's rent. Some of the money will go towards buying material to partition the stall. The location is surrounded by all sorts of business from motor vehicles garages to shops. It is also en-route to nearby residential houses, which translates to a ready market. I will also be blending juices and selling it my customers.

My business is expanding. From the humble beginnings almost two and a half years ago, I'm now on the verge of opening a new stall! Who knows? Someday it may be a fully-fledged hotel, serving local delicacies. Again, I humbly request you to make my dream come true. You've trusted my twice before, and this time around, I won't let you down.

Regards

Nancy
