About Me

I Edward Mandi was born in Kisii County some 50 years ago in a family of seven, i went to school up to standard eight and then joined craft centre where i trained as Radio and Television technician.
i was employed i saved some money which i used to open my current business in Radio and Television repair.
the land where i live is fertile even though is small is a good land for cultivation.
One wants to be electrical /electronics engineering , another want to be an agricultural extensional officer, another one wants to be a social worker.
my hobby is electronics and learning more about poultry farming.

My Business

I own Radio and Television repair workshop in Kisii County within Kisii Town.
Due to long experience in this work i have a lot of customers.
I like this type of work since my childhood, So i decide to train as a Radio and Television Technician.
I pay for the working place Kshs. 5000 per month/Kshs.1500 for electricity bill, Kshs. 3000 for traveling expenses, then i can make approximately between 50,000 and 80,000 per month.
I use my income profit to pay school fee for my children and other needs for the family, i also invest other money in growing my business, e.g i have small poultry farm.

Loan Proposal

The new loan will help me buy a solar panel and battery for my eggs hatching incubator.
The solar panel for 250 watts will cost Kes 25,000/-, and 120 Amps dry cell will cost around Kes. 48,000/- and the rest of the money will help me buy breading mother stock to start my new eggs hatching project.
This will help me reduce the price of day old chick to other farmers from Ksh, 100/- to Ksh. 80/- so they can also benefit.
The solar system will help reduce the cost of electricity, and i will not get lose by outages of electricity.

I take this oppotunity to thank you my lenders for having faith in me by lending again. I promise also to work with you faithfuly always. This money will help me as i indicated ealy to buy astandby source of power for my eggs hatching incubator. This will incrude an inverter, which i already have one which i bought materials and assembled i being atechnician ( electronics) . Solar panel will cost me about 250usd. Dry battery will cost around 480usd. The rest i will buy brooding mother stalk of different breeds. I decited to buy the powerback because our electricity is not reliable. We can have ablackout for even aweek or so. With this powerback i will minimise the loss i could incure due to power failiar thank you so much and God bless.
