About Me

My name is Angellina nyamai. I am 25 years old and i have grown up in rural Eastern Kenya. I completed high school in 2012. Due to the fact that I could not raise enough fees, I could not continue with my education. I therefore opted for menial jobs in our rural place.since then I have been saving so that I can start a business. I feel that such a business would give me some income so that I can attend college. I managed to start a small retail shop at Nairobi. With Help of Zidisha Previous loans I have been able to expand the shop to include mobile money transfer agency-Mpesa agency. This has increased my earnings considerably

My Business

My business is a small retail shop selling general merchandise in residential areas in Nairobi (maternity estate). I also sell grocery products outside the shop not to mention that i still have some cereals and charcoal.The shop is productive enough to allow me to survive in Nairobi. However, it hardy allows me to save and as such i would like to expand my business horizons to new ventures. I have also added a money transfer service commonly known as Mpesa here in Kenya. I seen my revenues have started to increase and i can now save

Loan Proposal

In line with my vision I would like to start a car wash business. As such I would like to buy the pressure machine which costs 300 dollars. In this connection I am applying for loan of 19,904 so that I can combine it with my savings to buy the machine.This machine will help me start the car wash business comfortably. The proceeds expected from the business are Ksh 1000 per day.
