I was born in the Kiungwani Ukambani area of Makueni County 22 years ago, where I also grew up. I am married with one daughter.
I started my studies for primary school at a local school called Kiungwani Primary School. While in class four at the same school, my father retired at an early age due the retrenchment programme that was being carried out by the government of the day back then. This really brought a lot of miseries, as I had to transfer to another school where I could get low fees. Remember, by then there was nothing like free primary education like now. But I thank God I managed to complete my Kenya Certificate of Primary Education and garnered 263 marks.
I joined a nearby Kiungwani High school where I completed my form four level and attained a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with a C Plain. Due to lack of money as I mentioned above, I could not manage to go to college but resolved to become an entrepreneur.
I trained in beauty therapy and therefore started a business that deals with beauty and cosmetics. I do salon work, sell beauty cosmetics, and perform hair dressing in my area of residence. I started this kind of business because my husband promised to help me with some small capital to start with, and hence I developed a passion for it.
I currently get at least 7 customers a day for hairdressing and earn 400 Kes ($4 USD) per client multiplied by seven, which is not bad to save and buy other materials. I also sell cosmetics, which brings in some cash. The total daily earnings from this business is around 7,000 Kes ($71 USD), so it's a worthy business.
First and fore-most, let me take this opportunity to thank you for your support to me personally so far,God bless you so much,
Last December which was a holiday, i made a visit to my home country and i discovered a another opportunity to venture in,two years ago the price of an egg was 10 kes each but when i was home that holiday i sold just a few which were there,only to discover that eggs have become a gold of its own,i sold at 25 kes each.
When i came back to the city which is Nairobi i decided to do research for chicken farming,i have done it and now i have skills and knowledge about this project that am about to start,during this study i found that, this project will cost as follows;
1.purchasing of the 300 young chicks @100 kes =30,000 kes
2.setting up house structure for the chicken will cost=20,000 kes
3.prevention of diseases will cost =10,000 kes
4.food for the chicks will cost =10,000 kes
Total cost =70,000 kes
Loan requested =58,347 kes
Deficit 11,653 kes
The remainig a mount i will add from my savings .
I therefore i now come to you my lenders to support me again,please find time to look at my loan project proposal, thanks in advance, God bless you as you read my project.
