About Me

I learnt in a rural set up from primary upto secondary then joined university. Have engaged in a number of business ventures and now getting into horticulture but the land am currently using requires fencing to keep away animals. My children would like to become doctors, engineers and lawyers.

My Business

I have been running a general goods shop. I tried motor vehicle transport but operating costs were too high till l moved into horticulture farming. This is where am putting my effort as l remain open to other opportunities that may come up.

Loan Proposal

I want to buy seeds for planting, some fertilizer and also clear some college fee for my daughter.

I wish to thank you for funding my farming project. I want to use the cash to buy planting seeds and vegetable seedlings. Part of the money will be used for fencing of the farm. I will also hire some people to help in weeding at a later stage during this short rains period.
Am also planning to revive my general goods shop if I can raise some little cash at a later stage this year.
Thank you once again for your assistance.

I must take opportunity to sincerely thank my backers for your contribution towards my project. My daughter has successfully cleared her fees and now waiting for her nursing council exams by the end of this year. I also planted some vegetables and onions that helped throughout the year. Sm extremely grateful for the support. Now working to revive my general goods shop.

I bought a hacksaw that l plan to use to cut the metal rods especially angle lines in the right size to use for fencing. One angle line rod costs approximately $15 and with a loan of $5 it wasn't possible to get the fencing rods straight away. Am confident l will be able to qualify for enough loan funds soon to accomplish this venture. Long live Zidisha family.

    Dear John,

During your next loan request, please post a photo of yourself at the top of your profile. (This is a Zidisha requirement). The photo needs to clearly show your entire face, preferably smiling, and preferably taken at the location of the project for which you are requesting a loan.

The photo currently in that top spot, you can move to a lower spot on your Discussion page, along with a comment about it for your lenders.

    Kind regards,

Am in the process of replacing the wooden poles with metallic ones. A good number of these have been stolen by the people who are using them for cooking. The metallic poles with barbed wire around the farm will help a great deal securing my crops.
