About Me

I was born in 1975 in Ngeniene in the department of MBOUR. I have been married for 15 years and I am a mother of 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls. I have 5 brothers and 4 sisters. I run a business of fruits and vegetables processing (couscous, peanut butter, lemon, mango, etc....). I live in the parcelles assainie in DAKAR, unit 17 villa n°314.

My Business

I run a business of fruits and vegetables processing (couscous, peanut butter, lemon, mango, juices, etc....). Thanks to my business I am able to share in the cost of family expenses (education of the children, rent, healthcare, etc…). I spend 50 000 FCFA a day to buy goods that I am able to sell two days later for 60 000 FCFA. I make an average daily profit of 5 000 FCFA. With this Zidisha loan I would like to increase my purchases and make my business flourish.

Loan Proposal

As agreed, I am coming to you to ask for a loan for the second time, after having received a first loan that I reimbursed entirely and well before the final due date in the reimbursement calendar. At this time I have a lack of goods necessary to meet my clients' needs. For this second loan I plan to go to my native village to buy agricultural products like peanuts, millet, and corn to sell in Dakar to households.

Hi Diambogne, I hope you are well and that you are not overwhelmed with unexpected troubles. I know how discouraging it can be to fall behind your planned payment schedule. I hope that when you are able you can pick it back up, since this will allow for both your success and others to keep passing along a chance to succeed.
Hoping to hear how you've been.
    God bless you!
    Julie

    Dear lenders,

This applicant's loan application had originally been cancelled because we discovered that the microfinance institution which had provided a reference in support of the application was not reliable. The applicant has now reapplied using a different reference and credit history which we were able to confirm independently.

Should you have any questions regarding this application, please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected].

    Regards,

    Julia Kurnia

      Hi Julia,

well it seems there is still something wrong with this account, considering not a single repayment has been made and we did not hear any news from the applicant. Are there any news from your side if there is still question marks on the applicant?

      thanks a lot

    Dear lenders,

We have discovered that the lending institution official who had confirmed this applicant's reported credit history was complicit in an attempt to deceive Zidisha by allowing computer-literate individuals to impersonate two applicants who turned out not to have written their own loan applications. We are therefore closing the accounts of the other applicants whose applications had relied on credit histories confirmed by this official, and returning funds that had been bid to lenders.

This applicant was not complicit in the fraud attempt, and may opt to apply again using credit history confirmed by a different official.

Should you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

    Regards,

    Julia Kurnia

Thank you for the first part of the repayment. I hope this means that your business is successful. I also hope you and your family are healthy. Here in Norway it is Mother's Day today. I have no children myself, but I congratulate you on your large family and wish you all joy!
