About Me

I am the third born child in a family of five, a sister, brother, myself and a sister and a brother who are both deceased. My parents divorced when i was about six years old and we were therefore raised by our mother. I was a committed church boy from childhood and after high school i almost joined the seminary to become a priest. But i knew i have a bigger goal and calling and i therefore abandoned the idea to study business and marketing. My mum could obviously not afford to take me to college after my secondary education and i therefore had to hustle to educate myself while holding onto my dream of one day owning an industry whose products will be a household name in Africa and the world

My Business

I manufacture soap detergents, bar soap, bathroom soap, hair products, beauty and body products. My source of income has been from my own savings and the from my sales. These are fast-moving consumer products whose demand grows by the day with only a variance of taste and style. I chose this line of business from an understanding that a manufacturer just like a farmer has a big say in determining the price in the market. On average it costs me about KES. 70,000 on purchase of raw materials, transportation and delivery to customers. I use part of the profit on my own education, to educate my two sons and also plow back into the business.

Loan Proposal

I will apply for relevant licenses for this year which is about 90 U.S dollars. This will enable me to apply for tenders in government institutions and other organizations that require such documents for pre-qualification purposes and also be in compliance with the law.

Thank you for your patience. As you may have noticed from my credit update, I have already made some repayment and will be sending my next due installment of KES 200 tomorrow, 6th Sept 2015.

I intend to make it lump sum so as to make up for the long delays I have caused earlier.
    Thank you and God bless

    Dear Lenders.
I have not been able to do any meaningful business in my small industry ever since i borrowed from you and paid for the pre-requisite license. I shifted from the where the industry was located in Thika (Witeithie) due to insecurity that resulted in some loss of personal items. That affected my smooth running of the business and i am now trying to put myself together for another start. I have therefore not been able to repay my loan at the promised installments and would therefore wish to adjust the same.

Kindly bear with me and please advice on the way forward.

    Kind regards.

    LIFE AFTER
As a trained insurance advisor, I am abreast with the knowledge that life after a loss even though full-compensated, cannot be the same again. However, there is a life ahead to live; and that is what am constantly telling myself. That even though I may have suffered a loss from the demise of my mum, i must yet move-on and have a life. I must pay my bills, honour my financial obligations and press on with business. I pledge to continue with this noble course and partnership with ZIDISHA friends and lenders.

Thank you so very much for your support and patience.

    Hi.
I lost my dear mum two weeks ago and as a result I delayed in making my payments on time. But I have since made a double payment of KES 504 each totaling to KES 1,008.

I hope you'll bear with me friends.

    Thank you and kind regards.

A dream is like a seed. It needs to be well stored and eventually sowed in a fertile ground for it to bring-forth produce. I think the teams and lenders in ZIDISHA have one common and unique quality, "the ability to see, nature, inspire and support the seed to grow!"

Thank you so much for the insightful course you are engaged in. You shall all be a part of my success story when my industry shall be celebrating and commemorating it's milestone achievements.
Once again thank you and kind Regards.

    Hi,

I am very grateful for the loan you disbursed to me though there was a small hitch i think from the organization's end, but i eventually received the cash.

I am already in the process of processing the relevant licences to enable me ran my business in a conducive and legitimate manner as required by the law.

I intend to clear the loan within a reasonable period from proceeds from my business and qualify to move on to a much more adequate funding.

Will keep you posted. Thanks again and kind regards.
