About Me
My Name is Beatrice Chalangat.I was born and raised in the rift valley region of Kenya.I was lucky to have a decent education both at the primary and secondary level.While pursuing my college education at the coast is when I discovered my entrepreneurial side and thats when the grocery business idea was conceived.Having attained accreditation as a teacher,it was challenging to joggle between teaching and trying to put my business idea into practice.It was then that I focused entirely on my business, risking everything to have it up and running.The hospitality by the coastal inhabitants is overwhelming and that is what makes a unique and condusive environment for doing business.
My Business
I wish to state that I used part of my profit to do some farming.So far I have about one acre of maize plantation(as indicated in the photo I posted )I used my returns to purchase seedlings and fertilizer for my farm.I intend to use the loan to hire people in my small farm.Thank you and God bless Zidisha.

Loan Proposal
If approved, I will use the loan to produce crops that take the shortest time to mature since its the rainy season and according to the weatherman, the season will not last as long as the yester years.So I want to take full advantage of this opportunity by renting two more smaller pieces of land to fit my projected income goals.
Such crops have ready markets locally and beyond.If the proceeds exceed my expectations, I wish to export to the nearby towns and sell on wholesale terms since bulk sales always guarantees maximum returns especially when dealing in perishables.
