my name is Evah Nyanguthii Karinga and am a resident of Nakuru county.am single with two daughters who are successful in business. After completing my O level education and with no available jobs in the market l opted for the self employment so as to earn a living. my friend introduced me to selling of second hand clothes but after the many challenges due to changes in taxation of imported clothes l opted to open a boutique shop here in town and sell the ready made clothes. The business is good here in town and do use the earnings to support my daughters and develop myself economically.am also an active member of my local church and have participated in various social economical activities in the community.
selling of clothes here in Nakuru is very viable due to the high population of Nakuru town. This is due to Sudanese refugees who are in town and have created the demand for clothes.l buy the stock from wholesalers in Nairobi and Uganda and sell at a profit margin of 40%. This enables me to make a gross profit of ks 25,000 per month.Though there is lot of competition due to second hand clothes l always make sure that my prices are very competitive and the clothes are of good quality. If advanced with the loan l will be able to add more stock in my business hence increasing the sales.
dear all lenders, am very grateful to zidisha platform for giving me another wonderful chance for my second loan. with this second loan, i hope to add more stock in my business, this is my high time to sell and supply the commodities in big quantity.i hope i will add a certain amount of money to poultry business. this project is very new to me since i started practising this business recently. i hope most of the customers is coming from the surrounding villages and they buys cloths and shoes in our town.
