About Me

My name is Virginia Wanjiru Kilonzo and a resident of Nakuru county.am married with seven children who are in various schools, and colleges here in Nakuru. After competing my primary school education l was not lucky to join secondary school due to lack of school fees as my parents were farmers and struggled to make ends meet.l was employed as a waitress in one of the hotels in town but when l got married l started dairy farming business since it was more reliable and the income was good.l use the income to support my family and l am a active member of my local church.

My Business

the dairy business i s good here in Nakuru due to the high population of nakuru town.l have three dairy cows that l milk an average of forty liters per day.l sell the milk to my neighbours and a local co-operative society at ks 30 per liter.this enables me to have to have ks 30,000 as net profit.when the cows are properly taken care of there is minimum chance of them being sick which may affect the production of milk.if advanced with the loan l will be able to buy another dairy cow hence increasing the production of milk.

Loan Proposal

dear lenders, i would like to take this chance to thank all zidisha team for giving me yet another time and chance to make this second loan application. with this second loan, am going to add more stock in my new cloths business which is doing in terms of good. i will buy more ladies wear and shoes which are in a very high demand. i will also buy mens shoes which during this season are in a very high demand

It only takes 3 months for the piglets to develop into adult pigs, once they are developed, one small pig costs 10000 shillings according to their weight. The more the weight the greater the price. She also told me that a full grown pig,is sold for 50000 in the main market and when one removes the expenses of food and treatment, one is able to acquire 30000 profit

Pigs have got a lot of advantages. One of them includes, pigs don't require much food for their survival.Once they have been fed using the manufactured feeds called (pig finisher) when they are little they can be able to search food for themselves. As it is known pigs like to feed on waste which helps them to increase their weight and make them bigger

I came across another business idea of rearing pigs from one of my friends. She told me she has been rearing pigs for a long period and that the profits are awesome. It only requires 2 pigs that is the male and female pig.The female pig gives birth to many piglets at one period, the least number of piglets that can be produced is 10.And also they do not require much food.

Hi lenders,l plan on building a nice house for the rabbits so that they may not be affected by harsh weather. This also helps them to mate easier since they have enough space. The good thing about rabbits is that they don't require much food.they are only given weeds fro the garden and some few manufactured feed which are not expensive.l look forward to this rabbits so that they can earn me more money and profit.

Dear lenders and the entire Zidisha team.l would like to inform you that l have been able to construct a pen for my milk goat.l found a good place to build it in my compound.l decided to construct this pen because the goat can be affected by adverse weather given that there is some changes in weather in our country. It is necessary because this type of goats is highly affected by weather and can lead to the reduction in milk production.
