About Me

My names are Keziah Wanjiku Kimani. I am a single lady with one kid and living in Kiptangwanyi shopping which is about 45kilometers from Nakuru town. My daughter is in the university pursuing medicine course. She is now in her first year. I have been in Kitangwanyi shopping center since the late 90s and this is where I have been operating my business for long. My business has been a clinic where I have been providing health services for residents of Kiptangwanyi and its environs. With the shortage of health facilities within the area, this has been a source of livelihood and at the same time I have been offering crucial services to the residents.
I live in plot number 340 at the shopping center. I have also been offering the services of a midwife. I have offered this service to many women around this area when giving birth and successfully assisted them. This has been a very important and necessary service to the residents of this area. I would like to offer even better services to the residents despite the new challenges that are often associated with this business.

My Business

I Keziah Wanjiku Kimani is a trained clinical officer operating my own private business at the shopping center. I have been in this place for long and have attended many people in this area and thus have quite a good experience in this field. Most of the people whom I offer the services come to my clinic and under rare circumstances I usually go to some other peoples premises to offer these services. The health facilities that are in this area are few and this therefore has increased the demand of these services in this area. I would therefore like to apply for a Zidisha loan and this will be very important in boosting my clinic. This business is profitable and I rely much on it to meet my basic needs. this is because the demand is usually high while on the other hand the facilities that offer this services are few. I would also like to buy new and modern equipments of offering these services to the residents. The main challenges that this business encounter are lack of enough facilities to offer this service and also frequent electricity blackouts that affect the business especially at night and one has a patient.
