About Me

As a child it was my ambition to become a medical Doctor like most of the other children in my school. We could be seen role playing Doctor- Patient relationship in Zebilla Primarily School, the local primary school I attended first.
I proceeded to Zebilla J.S.S and passed into Zebilla Sec/Tech school were I pursued Pure Science. It was a step closer to my Childhood dream. I graduated Secondary School in 2005 and in 2006 proceeded to Navrongo Community Health Nurses College where I graduated with Cert. in Community Health Nursing.
I practiced as a Nurse at the community level from 2009- 2012.
During this period I noticed a significant number of the community members had serious Dental problems. Dentistry in Ghana is centered in cities and a preserve of the rich. I chose to study Dental Nursing so as to bring Dental care to my community. I was not granted study leave with pay, but I chose to sacrifice my little savings to go for a 3 year Training in Dental Nursing. It was never easy to go through three yrears without salary. But that was the price I had to pay to be able to bring Dental Care to my community and District. I completed my Dental Training in 2015 and has since been helping my community and District. I'm getting fulfilled seeing how I bring smiles to their faces.
When I'm not at work I read, listen to music or take a ride to see the beauty of mother Ghana with regards to natures blessing. The beauty of mother nature here blended with the rich Kusasi culture in this Part of Ghana is better experienced than told. It is simply splendid.

My Business

I'm currently providing Dental Care to my community Members.
I started this in 2015. I have attended to about 700 people in my Districts and neighboring Districts including Districts in Togo and Burkina which shares boundary with us in the first half of 2016.
The Demand for Dental care is very high since a lot of people have Dental conditions such as Caries, Periodontitis, etc. And for 5 Districts excluding Districts in Togo and Burkina Faso Im the sole provider of Dental care though with little resources to work with.
Cost per day is dependent on the kind of condition treated. But average daily cost for running the small Business is ghc500
and profit for it is around Ghc 120.00
The profits from the business is used for reinvestment and sometimes for home improvement.
My vision for the next 5 years is to have a well equipped Dental clinic with a beautiful structure.

Loan Proposal

This loan will help me buy Dental Anaesthetic cartridge such as Lidocaine, Bupivicaine etc.
Patients who have to go through extractions and other procedures are sometimes sent away because we have no supply of anaesthetic agent which is suppose to numb or anaesthesize the tissues before the procedure is carried out.
It is my wish that I will get this loan to enable me acquire these items to continue to help my clients.
