My name is Richard Ansah Danso and lives at Dormaa Ahenkro in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. I have completed Training College at Assin Fosu and currently teaching at Dormaa and I also working at Dormaa Hospital as a part time worker. I have four siblings and happen to be a first born. It was my dream to become a full doctor to help others but I couldn’t further to Nursing but teaching field. When I was in the school I then also studying as a community health nurse for 6 months.
Some of the people in my town and the villages are just eating food, fruit and drinking whatever they want, mean while, it's not compatible with their Blood Group. As it is my dream to become a full doctor to help my own people and other village, I want to help to get a new clinic, because they haven’t had a dream to get a clinic. And by the grace of God, you can help me to open a clinic for them. In fact, there are a lot of mosquitoes in their villages that always let them get sick especially malaria. Malaria also is a life-threatening disease. It is typically transmitted through the bite of an infected Anopheles mosquito. Infected mosquitoes carry the Plasmodium parasite. When this mosquito bites you, the parasite is released into your bloodstream. Even most of them still don’t know their Blood Group type. Malaria can occur if a mosquito infected with the Plasmodium parasite bites you. In addition, an infected mother can pass the disease to her baby at birth. This is known as congenital malaria. Because malaria is transmitted by blood, it can also be transmitted through: an organ transplant, a transfusion, shared use of needles or syringes. So in the past three months ago, I bought 218 mosquito nets for them. Also, when our mothers, sisters, aunts and daughters get pregnant they have it very difficult in their delivery. Sometimes, I go for the sample and bring it to the hospital and after everything I then get back to give their results. So, if clinic may established there, it will definitely help the children and adults, and me too.
I want to open a clinic in philanthropic way to give back to the community, but it is a challenging endeavor. As I have decided already for this project, I bought 2 microscopes I am pleading to Zidisha to come to my aid to open a new clinic for the people across my home town. Because if they comes from the village for treatment is very far. So please, give me your helping hand and help the peoples in my villages. So as I met you here, I hope my problems will sooner solve. Thank you.
