My name is Emmanuel. I am a farmer of Mkushi district. I grow maize which I sell to the national food association. I am married to Christine and we have two children.

My first crop has grown and is ready for harvest. The profits that I will make from the sell of the maize would be used to repay my Zidisha loan. I will also buy seeds and fertilizers for the next crop which I plan to plant next week.

I have already planted one part of my field with maize and I plan to increase my maize field by planting a new field of maize.
