I was born in Eldoret in Uasin Gishu County 30 years ago. I grew up with a greater ambitions of becoming an engineer. But what went wrong with this dream?
I started my primary education there and eventually completed class eight with a certification of Kenya primary school Education.
Having passed with a flying colors at primary level,I joined a local secondary school due to financial challenges, where I began to explore all the subjects that could eventually decide whether I could become an engineer in future or not.
In 2007,I completed my high school and passed with credit of B but could not join university to do engineering, instead I decided to become an entrepreneur doing some small scale business of selling groundnuts.Due to many challenges I encountered in my fours years of selling groundnuts especially the financial challenges at home, the few profits I had earned enabled me to venture into selling cereals.
As I have fore mentioned already in my profile, I currently deal in selling of cereals specifically dry maize and beans.
Eldoret town being the headquarters of Uasin Gishu county,The residents here do not engage in farming, but depend on farm products for food,so they have to pass by my kiosk to buy some cereals. This has made it worthwhile to sell my cereals at a friendly prices which makes my stock to move very fast.
My current business is worthy 100dollars.I ventured into this business after fours years of good interaction with my groundnuts customers and fellow business men and women who frequently gave me advice's and ideas to run such business and also supported me to start it.
So far I have made a profit of 80dollars within my three month of operation,I anticipate that these will grow up to at least 120 dollars profit. I intend to use these profit to pay school fee of my two kids and also help my aging parents. The remaining profits I will save for my college fee which I will join later to do a business course.
I would like to start buy thanking all my leaders, towards goals of future to my business I will use the funds to expand my business by adding more stock, I will buy 2 sucks of beans @ks5500 , soyer beans 25kg@ks175,ginger20kg @120,
