Esther Pomaa is my name.i come from berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region. I started my basic school school at Berekum Akab Complex School, i furthered my education from there to berekum senior high school. My parents are farmers by profession hence all my education cost was funded by my fathers product earns from the farm. In life it takes ones own imagination to be poor or rich. I completed my secondary education and due to my hard work, and the respect that i have for people i was employed in a nearby shop in my home and began to identify the needs of the community. With the little savings made i started my own provision shop . ow i can see that the community need these daily needs for their survival. My people have a unique cultural values in the sense of taboos and custom beliefs.
Unique provision shop is the name of my provision store. It is located at at senase a suburb of berekum on the berekum-sunyani high way. i started this provision store in my area because there a lot of people in that area and they will be needing these daily items and canned food for survival .Since i started the business, i can boast that people are always at my shop purchasing. The main products are breakfast items like ,milk, bread tea, coffee ,Lipton and all kinds f bakery products which workers rush to my shop daily for these products. Also laundry products like, soap, soap powders and detergents are sold in my shop. The main motive behind me choosing this business was that, everyone will need this in everyday life because you have to take your breakfast, lunch and supper and you will need these items to prepare that. my first loan helped me a lot in my business thereby helping me to stock my shop.
every business needs capital to be able to run effectively. i have requested an amount of 700 ghana cedis to help expand my shop to be able to attract more customers and to increase my profit margin. my shop is located at vantage point and i want to add more products from breakfast to lunch products in order to solve almost 60% of community basic needs. since my shop is among the few in the community people are in need of these products for survival. will get in touch with the contractors the moment i receive the loan for immediate expanding of my shop. i want to increase the capacity of the shop to store more products and increase my profit margin. i also want to employ an assistant to take care in my absence.
