About Me

Having been brought up by my grandmother who was a great fun of rearing chicken, all along even after her demise, have always remembered her and my childhood with huge stock of chicken in our then remote compounds at the borders of Isiolo which is now Isiolo county.its with the love for chicken i developed in childhood that have always inspired me to start the rearing of chicken for business .

My Business

i started rearing kienyeji chicken about 2years ago but didnt thrive well because of lack knowledge in their needs,in vaccination, feeding and cleanliness in an enclosed setup as opposed to open field rearing practised by my late grandmother.i couldnt too hatch enough chicks through natural means where an hen would just sit for few eggs. But due to deep rooted interest have learnt much through seminars and online. As opposed to natural hatching have bought an incubator capable of hatching upto sixty in twenty one days.its my prospect from my savings and zidisha funding that in a near future i will be able to acquire additional incubator ,construct more structures and atleast i see in a month i can sell 100 mature chicken and 100 chicks.

Loan Proposal

I will buy 5 iron sheets @25 dollars, wire mesh @30dollars,20 2 by 2 flames @20dollars,100pieces third grade [email protected] will give room for rearing an additional 100 chicken for sale every month ,in this i wil be able to make sales of upto 500dollars a month in next six months.
