About Me

MY STORY
My name is Hellen Adoma Yeboah. I am a 26 year old Ghanaian lady. I am a graduate of the University of Cape Coast. I am the second from a family of five. While in school, I assisted a friend who was into the designing of ladies hand bags with local prints. The quality and the beautiful nature of her products got me really interested and as such I started picking from her and selling on campus. Through committed efforts and dedication, business started booming and I have not looked back ever since. For now all I do is the distribution and sale of these sandals on campuses and some church friends and colleagues. For now however, my aim is to target other campuses in other. I am very entrepreneurial minded and I make the most out of every opportunity that present itself and as such this next step of expansion is a great step for me.

My Business

ABOUT MY BUSINESS
I am in the production and sale of beautiful ladies hand bags made with local prints. I have a lot of styles and design which people love to see and buy every day and this is generating a good profit for me and as such I want to expand my business and expand to other parts of the country and beyond and to also serve as an avenue to employ others who have no work to do. I currently do not have a shop but keep the goods at home and delivers them when contacted by someone for supplies. I however have a huge customer base who are always ready to buy from me.
I would be glad to get this loan to be able to get access to the other regions and also spread my tentacles beyond the shores of Ghana in order to be able to fight the unemployment situation around here and also be able to make good profit so as to be able to pay back. I promise to execute and respect the rules and regulation of this noble institution. Thank you.

Loan Proposal

MY LOAN PROPOSAL
My locally made ladies hand bags business strives to make people aware of Ghanaian fabrics and culture. I have been struggling to get loan to push this business up for about a year now and this loan if granted will be godsend to help me achieve this. Since I have been doing this for the past one year, there are always many people waiting to receive their orders and there are always more people who are willing to buy provided I can supply.
The main reason why I do this business is not just to make more profit for myself but to also showcase the quality material prints that we have here, the most popular been the ‘kente cloth’. I have been able to raise funds to produce most of the wear, but now what is left with is just a bit which will be well covered by this loan. Kindly consider lending me this loan as it will go a long way into helping me achieve my lifelong dream. Am grateful to be part of this organization and I promise to abide by all the rules and regulations.
Thank you.
I currently live at Kwadaso in the Ashanti region of Ghana. Whenever you are in Kumasi, just ask of the Kwadaso Agric College. Once inside the college my house can be found residential section called Agric, house number BLK 44/A5.
Thank you.

i am very happy to have received such a loan facility from zidisha. i want to take this opportunity to say that i am most grateful. with my last loan that i received i managed to purchase certain ATL fabrics to be used to design some of my products. initially i couldn't buy in large quantities and this ha d an adverse effect on my business as i couldnt meet demands. sometimes i had to purchase on credit which also ahd its own side issues, however with the loan form zidisha, i now have a ready and steady capital to buy in bulk and produce to enjoy all the benefits that comes with bulk buying and this has brought so much a difference in my life and in my business. another difference too is that i am now capable to take care of my young sister who just wrote her basic education certificate examination.

i thank zidisha very much. my completed loan helped me in expanding my business especially in terms of transportation. the money that i received enabled me to move about and distribute my products to potential customers. before the loan i used to walk or use commercial vehicles in all of my movements which sometimes became very cumbersome due to traffic congestion but with the loan i could now buy a gallon of petrol every week into my small ladies motor bike which enabled me go where ever i wanted and that really helped me a lot.
