My Business

My name is Raphas Muteti. I come from Nakuru in Rift valley province in the republic of Kenya. My parents are Mr. and Mrs. Muteti. I attended Primary School at Ngomanao Primary School and went to Darajani High School. After my Secondary education I proceeded to Kenya School of Management for my advanced studies and later Mt. Kenya University for my Undergraduate. Currently I am pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree, Strategic Management option from Kenyatta University. It was during my college years that I realized my passion in business and especially soft drinks and this lead to my start up on a small scale whereby I used to get returns of Ksh 300 per carton. This therefore forms my basis for this application so as to grow my business. I look forward for your financial assistance.

Project Proposal

Given that I bought mature Kienyeji hens, breeding has began in earnest, egg laying already started in some while others are almost starting. This stage is equally important therefore the request for more funding so as to prepare for feeds (for both layers and chicks) or any other contingency measures that come with reproduction.

The expected minimum successful hatches and transition to maturity per hen being ten (10), the anticipated total new units is seventy (70). With the average market price of 500 per hen and 800 per cockerel, the anticipated total revenue for cycle is an amount not less than Ksh.45,000

    Dear Financier,

Thank you for your acceptance to fund my project and may you be increased.
I intend to use these funds to purchase feeds and supplements for my brooding stock so as to improve rate of laying as well as improve survival rate of chicks to maturity. The two segments will ensure maximum income after the cycle.

    Regards

I bought one improved kienyeji cockerel and four hens so as to expand my poultry enterprise. This was a good start since combined with my old stock then I'm assured of growth of the enterprise after successful breeding.

    Dear Lilian,

Thank you for stepping in to boost my project with capital.

I intend to purchase additional stock of poultry, which if added in to the already existing stock will see the layers unit grow to five (5) as well as an improved Kienyeji cockerel that assures quality breed, fast growth and more prices for the stock in the market.

Thank you for making this possible and I promise to do my best.

    Regards.

My recent project was a small poultry venture

The initial cost was three layers and some investment in shelter, feeds and supplements.
Following successful breeding from domestic cockerel, each the hens laid and brought up 8,10 and 12 chicks each, of which 25 have grown to maturity and sold at Ksh. 500 each. With the minimal input costs and conducive environment at home the project has recorded remarkable success thus my pursuit to fund its growth.

I will highly appreciate your funding to grow.

    Regards and thank you.
