About Me

i was born some 46 years ago in nyeri county. i went through my primary and my high school education there . but i moved to Nairobi city for my tertiary education where i did a doploma in applied biology at the kenya polytechnic then now technical university of kenya. i also did my higher diploma there.
when i finished my high school i started some farming back at home where i used to grow cabbages sukuma wiki and tomatoes ans selling them locally and at karatina and nyeri wholesale markets. for a duration of two years. by then i accumulated some money which i used to pay for my college. when i college i hired a two acreland at kijabe where i used to grow sukuma wiki and spring onions and then sell them over the weekend at kangemi and kawngware markets.

My Business

in 2005 i got a job with nairobi university as a lab technologist where i work to date. i also did not stop farming as a hobby , i still grow some horticultural crops like tomates and fruits. i would like to propel this farming to the next level as a second source of income even after i leave informal employment some 14 years to come. i chose this kind of business because i have a passion in farming.

Loan Proposal

i will use this loan to buy hanna tomato seeds to plant in the month of july so that by September they will be ready for havesting. this will be a good market timing as by that duration the season is usually dry and so the plant diseases are less and so more economical to manage the crops

    dear lenders ,
i wish to thank you very much for funding my last loan. am terribly sorry for remitting my last installment late. this was because i had gone out of the country for one month on official duties and could not access mpesa.
i would like to share with you what i did with your money. After accessing the amount of money i got and trying to budget it, i found it was too little for the tomato farming so i decided to do something else with it. i decided to start chicken farming for the improved kienyenji chiken. i used it for purchasing one tray of 30 fertile eggs and right now am incubating them in my lab due on 15th september. my aim is to attain a population of 1000 chicken by the end of October aiming the Easter holidays next year market.
