About Me

My name is Benard Wanjohi, i was born in Taveta, Taita taveta county. Iwent to Taveta primary school from the year 1996-2005. Then i was admitted to Nyeri High school. but due to insufficient funds from my parents i had to join a nearby day secondary school from the year 2006-2009. I attained grade C+ in my form four exams and i joined a college to continue with my farther education. i did a Certified public accountancy course and completed it on 2013.

During my Secondary life i used to do farming which i used to pay my school fees. And due to limited funds when i was in college, my parents were unable to provide me with money to sustain myself during my at education, so i used to work during part times.

From the little money i used to get from my hard work i used to save some little money so that i could be able to start a small enterprise. Since i come from Kirinyaga County our land is very fertile and the most important cash crops we grow include Arrow roots, Sweet potatoes and bananas.
My unique hobby is to socialize with friends discussing business ideas and creating new employments.

My Business

I deal with buying and selling of arrow roots. i usually by in bulky then i transport them to Mombasa and resell them at a profitable value. arrow roots are in demand depending on their tastes. Various Arrow roots from different regions have have their different tastes. Most of Arrow roots from our region are in demand due their good tastes. I preferred this kind of business to the limitation of this kind of cash crop but they are in high demand hence more market for the goods.
Transportation costs and Labour cost are the most typical costs i incurred The revenue i get depends on the number of customers buying the goods per day.
I am planning to reinvest in real estates business and employ people in y business.

Loan Proposal

When i get this loan i will buy more Arrows roots worth 20 dollars, paying for transportation costs worth 15 dollars for easy movement of goods to the place where i will be reselling them. And the remaining balance of 10 dollars i will use to pay the labour costs. Even though i will the funds will not be able to meet the amount of good i need to have for the maximization of my profits i will be able to repay the loan and apply for another loan and expand more for my business. I will be able to review the plan of my business in terms of profitability since by that my profit would have increased with profit margin of approximately 25%.
