About Me

My name is Samuel Lukama. I live in zambia. I grew up at farm with my parents. I learnt a lot of things at the farm such that am making a living out of the things i learnt at the farm.I did my primary and secondary education with my sister. I finished school and wanted to become a medical doctor but my parents couldnt afford. So since my parents became old i started to concentrate at the farm and overcame many challenges. I support my sister in college. One day i will do medicine. My father gave me 5 hectares at the farm and thats how i started my farming business. I am not yet married. My hobby is doing community work.

My Business

My farming business i grow variety of plants at the farm such as maize and beans which i sell at nearby markets. Everyone needs to eat so everything i grow and cultivate has demand. I chose this business because i have so much passion for farming. Usually i put in about ZMW5000 when i plant maize and when i sell i make profit which i buy food at home for my parents and support my sister in college and do save some money.

Loan Proposal

when am given this loan i want to buy fertilisers so that i can plant some crops like vegetables. Once I harvest in 3 to 4 weeks i will sell and make a profit which i can use to buy foodstuffs at home and reinvest some money. My business will increase by a small margin since the capital is not that much but it is okay. Thank you to lenders in advance.

Income Source

I do have also animals at the farm so i can sell in case my business gets stuck. I can easily pay back.
