About Me

my name is lewis muchoki owner of krizz nail parlour.I was born in kirinyaga county.my family was not well off but interestingly we never lacked basic necessities. All that changed when my mother died while i was in class 3 and was left at the mercy of my step dad life became hard and I had to leave...fortunately through government funding I was able to finish my form four and get a certificate. After form four I looked for a job and my first job was as a cyber cafe attendant with an income of just 8000 ksh.which was hardly enough for me.i sought for greener pasture and got a job at a betting company as a sports betting cashier with a salary of just 18000 these was a relief at least I cousin spare some cash.i enrolled in university perusing a degree in computer science but half way I become jobless again and had to stop my classes.i looked for on other job and got trained as a nail artist and I saved for one year and got 60k. I started my own nail parlour with just that cash well it was not that comfy and stylish but I made it.
convincing customers was hard because there was no variety of services we could offer but what made me outstand against my competitors was services I offered one year later I was able to upgrade

My Business

Well 3 years after inception and the results and experience have been extremely motivating.when I started the monthly turnover was just 8000 that was not even enough to pay the business rent.i had to opt for a loan.i got a loan from a friend to top up for the rent and add some more commodities in our profile.six months later our customer base had grown to 200. and the monthly turnover was 20000.after one year the monthly turnover was 50000 thousand
That year the annual turnover was 105000.At the end of second year the turnover was 400000.We are targeting 600000 this year.

Loan Proposal

The cost of a footspa is 8000.in my business we have two footspa. which make a gross sale of 7000 weekly.but due to high demand for pedicure there are number of customers who go without being served because the available spa are being used and this leads to loss of of revenue..If the extra machine is brought in it will be able to boost the sales by 20%this means the expected sale will be 9800 per week. The net profit will be 5820

The next time the system lets you post a loan request, please post a photo of yourself at the very top of your profile page, clearly showing your entire face, centered in the frame. (That also will help to ensure that your face would appear centered in the little circle to the left of your name, just above each of your comments here on your borrower-lender Discussion page.)

Borrowers are supposed to post a photo of their face, at the very top of their profile page, for the second loan request and for each subsequent loan request (lenders are not required to post a photo of themselves).

The system will let you change the photo at the very top of your profile page anytime you create a new loan proposal and for as long as it remains actively in fundraising.

All other photos, you can post farther down here on your borrower-lender Discussion page, along with a comment about those for your lenders.

    Thank you.

I cannot pay the full amount because I am currently facing financial challenges now I am working on rebuilding customer trust in our services and it has not been easy for me to meet the operational cost of the business.
However despite the situation at hand am committed to paying my loan in bits so that my business can keep running because I believe it doesn't matter how slow you move provided you don't stop

My sister got terminally ill I had to go and take of her in our home I left the business on the hands of the workers
The medication was a bit expensive and I was the bread winner that was an uphill task at some point due to lack of commitment and poor administration the business nearly came down as it couldn't meet its operational cost we started loosing our client base and a great profit loss
I had to close down from the month of December and resumed work on February we had a lot of rent licences arrears and stock I had no liquidity to pay the bills
I reopened and struggled to pay for the bills God has been with me and I am commuted to pay the loan once the business regains stability
I am really sorry for failing you my dear lenders I hope you support me as I fulfill my promise
