About Me

Adjei Mensa is my name. I come from Ampenkro, a village near Drobo in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. My parents were peasant farmers who divorced when I was three years. It has been a miracle for my upbringing as a result of a relatively large family (seven siblings) and divorced parents. I had to start fending for myself from a tender age. I completed teacher training college and subsequently the university through the assistance of a good Samaritan. I therefore want to help my younger siblings as well as my nephews and nieces to continue their education and cater for my old mother. My community is a poor one so I intend creating an educational fund through the assistance of benevolent societies to cater for the needy.

My Business

I owe a provision and cold store in a small community called Menji in the Tain district of Ghana. Most of the town folk had to preciously travel about 10 kilometers to have access to meat and other valuable vegetables. I therefore created a cold store to sell fish and frozen chicken for consumption. This has eased the burden on the townsfolk from travelling for these products. I have recently added soft drinks and items for sale. Efforts are being made to purchase an extra refrigerator to make up for the increasing demand for my products.

Loan Proposal

My shop deals in the sale of frozen meat for consumption. I intend selling vegetables in addition to the frozen meat. I will use USD 100 for the purchase of vegetables like tomato, egg plant, cabbage, carrot, okra, pepper, onion and groundnuts for sale. I will use USD 40 for the payments of electricity bill and USD 30 for transportation. The remaining USD 200 will cater for miscellaneous. Sales made from my shop and my monthly salary(as a teacher) will be my sources of revenue to pay off the loan.

I had to assist my sister who gained admission to the Midwifery and Nursing Training College to pay her fees. This has taken considerable told on my finances and business. Since business is quite good I hope I would be able to turn things around and be able to adjust payments upwards.

Hello Mensah, can you get in touch with Zidisha to reduce your payments to a more manageable level? That is better than letting yourself get behind with your payments, which can make it harder to get a future loan.
    God bless you,
    Wendy

My stock has increased tremendously and I have been able to secure a power generator to stabilize my business due to erratic power supply in my country. I have been able to pay the fees of my two siblings and supported a sibling in his farming.

I recommend master Adjei Mensa for loan funding. He is trustworthy and his business is worth investing. I have personally visited his shop. I'm highly optimistic that he will maintain an on time payment if his loan is approved.
