About Me

My name is Doris Gyabea, I hail from Dormaa Ahenkro in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. I happen to be in the family of Six. I am the the third born. My basic education and secondary education was tough. Since I could not get better grades, I decided to find a job that will help me settle in life. This made me try a lot of works.

I became apprentice for about 3 years and after graduating from catering school, I could not pursue that dream for lack of money to setup my own catering shop. This led me searching for something that could help me better my lot. I was introduced to fruit selling by a friend.

My Business

Selling of fresh fruits is my business. This has been a great help for me and my family, since it brings some income to help take care of my family. I travel to villages in search of Bananas, Apples, Oranges, Tangerine, Avocado pear, Stawberies and several other natural fruits grown in the hinterlands of our region, the Brong Ahafo.

It is said that ''an apple a day keeps the Doctor away'' and I very much believe in that because the nutrients we get from eating fresh fruits are enormous. These keep the body healthy all year round.

Loan Proposal

Fruit selling is very lucrative if the needed capital is available. I wish to apply for a long to help expand my fruit selling business. I can make about $25.00 a week as profit if I can get the needed capital into the business. I wish to apply for a loan of $100.00. I believe that, the lenders of Zidisha will help me realise this dream. Thank you.
