About Me

My name is Anastasia Ogana Miyoyo.
I was born in bomet kenya and attended kericho girls secondary school. After my form four my parents were not able to support me to university so I took a share of family land and started my tea farming.
My dad helped me pick up in the farming. I have 1.5 acres of tea land.I make a profit of $2000 per year. I love kericho due to its cool weather supporting tea farming.

My Business

I practice tea farming in kericho town kenya. I currently have 1.5 acres of land with tea plantations. I harvest tea every 2-3 weeks during their peak periods. I manage a good pay from the Tea Board Of Kenya where I sell my produce. Taking to account all the cost of labour, fertilizer, herbicides and all the other costs involved I get a profit of close to $2000 per year since the board pays yearly.

Loan Proposal

Hello zidisha community. I am glad I was able to settle my first loan of Ksh. 1050 and I want to confirm that I was able to settle my farm workers on time. I want to thank zidisha and its lenders for the support and the great help through the process.
I would like to post a new loan request to facilitate the pruning of my tea plantation. I will be happy for any help towards my plantation progress
