About Me

My name is Anastasia Ogana Miyoyo.
I was born in bomet kenya and attended kericho girls secondary school. After my form four my parents were not able to support me to university so I took a share of family land and started my tea farming.
My dad helped me pick up in the farming. I have 1.5 acres of tea land.I make a profit of $2000 per year. I love kericho due to its cool weather supporting tea farming.

My Business

I practice tea farming in kericho town kenya. I currently have 1.5 acres of land with tea plantations. I harvest tea every 2-3 weeks during their peak periods. I manage a good pay from the Tea Board Of Kenya where I sell my produce. Taking to account all the cost of labour, fertilizer, herbicides and all the other costs involved I get a profit of close to $2000 per year since the board pays yearly.

Loan Proposal

Thank you zidisha and all the lenders who contributed to growth of my project. I was able to prune my tea farm and the farm is doing well.
its through zidisha support that I was able to pay off ny workers on time and help me prune my tea plants.
I would like to request for a new loan from zidisha to help me employ a new worker to help me manage the tea harvesting and the general management of the farm. thank you for your support
