My name is Asnet Migiza and I am now 34 years, I have one daughter has just turned eight months. I have been married for 3 years now. I lost my first child at birth. I have 2 brothers and one sister. I lost my father in June 2014 in a motorcyle "boda boda" accident. I lost my mother in law in August 2015.
My Business
I am based in Siaya town where I have a small shop where I sell beauty items for ladies. My original shop was brought down by town council some time back when we were made to relocate to a new site. The shop is new and I want to stock it more now that I am back to work on a full time basis. Ladies beauty products are in demand in this area as the Siaya county now hosts a lot of financially able ladies as devolution takes root. During this heated political season, business was not good but now that some semblance of normalcy is returning, I want to get back to business bring in more stock
Loan Proposal
As Siaya town grows because of being headquarters of Siaya County, more financially able ladies in Siaya town have more purchasing power to afford beauty products. I intend to purchase hair weave stock for my shop. With Zidisha loan, I will be able to add addition hair weave stock of US$5 over and above what I will bring in.
This additional stock will contribute to stock leading to more income that will help me grow my shop stock and also contribute to my family's upkeep.
As I grow my stock with contribution from Zidisha and my savings, I expect to start incresing my profits by at least 3% every month.
