About Me

My name is Collins Kipchumba a Kenyan by birth I studied from Makerere University in Uganda and majored in international Business in which I graduated with a masters degree and happily pursuing farming and aiming to become an international exporter of tomatoes and other farming products.
My LinkedIn Profile can be found:
www.linkedin.com/in/collins-kipchumba-sang

I'm happy to have gotten lucky to study and aquire valuable knowledge in the field of business. Although jobs have been scarce i tried not seat and wait for opportunities but to go ahead and create mine. A million miles start with one step.

I started a small green house project in 2016 in my small community and during that period I have noticed that the demand and supply in my community is wanting. and therefore the need to expand and produce more of the products.

I have a daughter whose future needs to be secured. And the love i have for her and horticulture is what drives me to work harder and strive for excellence.

I'm looking forward to become an international renowned exporter one day.

My Business

My business is entirely based on farming and produce of tomatoes for sale in the local supermarket and all my produce is bought by the locals. I also cross plant Tomatoes and green Pepper on a small scale.
The income I earn is from tomatoes and some additional milk production that i sell. The profit I get is reinvested in the business and is a source of my livelihood and income.

Loan Proposal

I would like to use the loan to harvest and pay labourers to deliver the produce to the market. The loan would facilitate payments such as labour fees for the workers who earn roughly $8 and the harvesting fee would cost roughly $60. The loan would add to the already saved money I have been having. This loan would greatly add on my income stream as it would enable me sell in the market as the holidays are approaching. It would also go in contributing on the stall I currently have in the market of which it needs fees to be paid. You contribution will be highly appreciated.
Best Regards
Collins Kipchumba
