About Me

am 32 years old married with one lovely three year old boy. i would like to improve my life economicaly by expanding business.

My Business

my business located at Wanyororo Nakuru North district, involve a cyber cafe, photocopying machine, printing service and laminating of documents. currently my business is located near a goverment office hence good business. i want to revamp my outlet to cater for the customers demand. information communication technology popularly known as ICT is being used by each and every one neccesitation funds to uplift my business with the latest and efficient machines.

Loan Proposal

Having established my cyber i already have alot of customers. however some of the computers have broken down interfering with my business. I therefore intend to replace the broken machines so that i can be able to serve every customer as he/she arrives without asking them to wait for the one using the computer to finish because this discourages them and some go away.

My name is Benard Murage from Bahati in Nakuru county Nakuru North Sub County. I happen to be a lender with Zidisha from the year 2011 to date. The assistance that this initiative has done to my business is marvellous.
The main reason am rescheduling my loan is due to an order I supplied to a customer of goods worth close to 20,000 whom business premises was broken into by thugs last year and he is facing difficulties in settling my debt but he has promised to pay when he stabilises.
I may pay the remaining loan upfront if the challenges that am facing now subside as the famous saying goes “the earlier the better” thank you

I would like to be paying more because I am now able since my business has now picked up. Those people who owed me money have now started paying me as business is picking up after the election tension is over. I would like to thank my lenders as they were patient with me when my business was down. Thank you very much. I appreciate so much. I will always be grateful for what they did. They showed that they were concerned. Once again thank you very much

having bought the seven computers, i enrolled the students and expanded the room where the students were to learn.this meant shifting from the wanyororo to a near by town centre where there was space. the landlord demanded some down payment and deposits which amounted to higher amount than i had ealier anticipated because there were many persons who had booked the room and the competation was high making the owner to hike the price. i did not have an alternative because i had already enrolled the students and had also agreed with them on the terms of payment of their tuition fee which was to be paid termly and at the end of the term for many of the parents.this means that although i am hoping to get the money paid, i am right now at a fix and am not ablke to hounor my installments as earlier stated. but i intend to pay as much as i will be getting as soon as iam able to pay. the good thing is that i have hope of getting the money especially after those students with balances start to clear.

i have been paying faithfully my monthly loan repayments because my business has been doing well in the past.with time i decided to diversify my business to maximise the profit as is the order of the day in kenya to try ones hand in many different ventures as a away of earning more. i bought some commodities to resell later before the time of my october loan repayment was to be due. however the buyers have taken long to pay and this has affected my cash flow. iam hoping that things will be okey soon. i wish to have this loan rescheduled so that i may be able to wait for my customers to pay.

    Hello,
I'm the communications associate for Zidisha this summer, and I recently talked to Benard. He said that with this loan, he was able to buy a new printer for his cyber cafe and that he uses his profits to help his family. Although he also re-invests in his business, he told me, "family comes first, business second." With help from the loan profits, he is able to clothe and feed his family better. I wish all the best of luck to Benard in the future!
