Hello Steve, are you not VM to Ruth Arisi anymore? If you still are, will you please check up on her since she is not repaying on her loan, nor responding to any questions. Thanks, Pavane

    Hello dear Steve,

sorry to bother you and write here, maybe it's off topic, but we don't know any other methods to write you, even directly.

You're mentor of Mr. Benson Wachira, correct? We don't have any futher information about hime and we would like to know more about his status, motivation of his delay and when he think we will receive the repaiments.

Thank you Steve for your important support for this issue.

    Best Regards, Simbaz.

Hello, my name is Dan Cembrola, one of Zidisha’s Kenya Client Relationship Managers. I am currently visiting Zidisha borrowers in Nakuru and its outskirts.

Steve has lived in Bahati his whole life. Like many residents of this town in Central Kenya Steve is in the agriculture business. “Farming is my passion” he often says. On Steve’s two acres of land, he cultivates maize, beans, tomatoes, cabbage, avocadoes, and pumpkins. In addition to this he also owns one cow (named Lucy) and has used his first Zidisha loan to start a chicken coop, he also supplemented his farming activities with his loan from Zidisha.

Currently, Steve has 150 chicks which he buys when they are one day old for about 8 Schillings. He nurses them for three months and then sells them for 420 Schillings a piece. He also has several adult chickens which he plans to sell in December when the demand is higher due to Christmas festivities. In addition to his farming business, Steve also manages a housing rental and restoration business in Nakuru.

Steve is planning to add an additional cow to his farm with his next loan and is also interested in purchasing a computer for the use of his seven year old son Duncan, his wife Monica, and Steve as well. Duncan, at just seven years old, is in charge of looking after the group of rabbits Steve also owns. In the longer term, Steve hopes to be able to use the profits from his farming and housing businesses to purchase a tractor to till the fertile lands of Bahati.

Would like to request a grace period and will begin making payments on the 7th of each month beginning December 7th. A payment was made yesterday, October 29th, that has not yet been reflected in my account. Thank you for your assistance. The business is going well but I receive money at the beginning of the month so it will be better to have my repayment date on the 7th of each month instead of the 27th.

    Dear Steve,

if you were to offer a slightly higher interest rate than 0%, I'd be happy to loan to you. For me, an interest rate of about 3% would be reasonable for the risk which is associated with giving a loan on Zidisha.

    Sincerly yours
    Cordula

Offering 0% interest is not serious. I will be happy to work with you again if you offer me 2 or 3%, which is still very acceptable, even low rate.

I think there is something wrong with the listing as it would not allow me to enter a loan rate of anything other than 0%. That aside, I am happy to make this loan at 0%!
