About Me

I was raised in a cultural setup where girls were circumcised . I escaped the knife when my late mom embraced Christianity but my sisters were circimcised

My Business

I get eggs from farmers and sell on retail price to individuals and small restaurants. I desire to sell at wholesale price in the near future

Loan Proposal

The loan has increase by about $12 and therefore I can manage to buy a good Thermos that will help keep my moms drinking water warm through out the day. This will save cooking fuel(kerosene)

Hi Margaret. I paid early because I am hoping to raise my borrowing capacity and see whether I can raise enough to help start a noble business

    Hi Irene,
I noticed there are a lot of successful businesses selling used clothing and shoes, also I have worked with a girl selling satchel water, she started small but has since had other girls selling water for her too for a commission so they both earn money.
The most important thing about Zidisha is to keep your repayment rate very high, now that Zidisha has grow so fast not all loans gets fully funded, you have a better chance if your repayment rate is high. So if there is a time where you are experiencing slow business log into your account and change your repayment amount and schedule rather than missing a payment. Zidisha can help you achieve your dreams if you use it properly. I wish you all the best. With Regards, Margaret

    Hi Irene
, it is great that your grandson helps you in your business. I am sure you can continue to grow your business until you can get a car. As long as you keep a very high repayment rate you are are more likely to get your loans funded. Zidisha also does partially funded loans now too, it is a recent change that you might not know about. I wish you well as always. Regards

Hello, that's my grandson and I at the biggest dump site in Nairobi Kenya. We collected glass bottles, crushed them, and packed them in sacks. The brokers (intermediaries) who have cars will buy them from us and take them to the company. If I got my own car I would take them direct to the company. It is profitable that way. I would also afford to hire more people to help in crushing process.
Meanwhile its my daughter, her son and I WHO handled the job and we did not do much.
