Introduce yourself to lenders.I Jane Mueni I went to school but left to get married at Form 2. We later divorced and I went to Nairobi where I began my business with KSH 100 bob by buying sukuma wiki at KES 50 bob and tomatoes at 50Ksh. This was in 1995. I continued until I owned a retail shop.
I own 4 acre land tilt and have planted mangoe trees , pawpaw trees, passion fruit trees, avocado trees and orange trees and plant seasonally maize, peas, beans, arrow roots, cassava etc. In a year I can earn KSH 200,000. I use the profit to educate my last born in a private school.I have been developing the area since is a semi arid area
It is actually raining season approaching.
I have well calculated that by the time you lend me and the money is disbursed rain will have hit the ground well. I lack bulls to cultivate my land. I will have to hire two pairs of bulls to cultivate my land at Ksh 6000. The cost is high due to manpower required during the exercise. The profits are plenty as my land is capable of producing six bags of maize when rains are low and a bag of maize is wholesaled at around Ksh 3000.I have no doubt of prospering. I am the chairperson of Kilili Catholic church and hence I use most of my profits to support church activities and also educate my last born girl in class 3
