About Me

Hello Lenders!

My Names are Mercy Muthoni, I am 27 years old, married with two children.I am a Business Administrator by profession. I worked as an Administrator for a few years and then decided to Join my Husband and help him run his online business.

After graduating from college, I wanted to be a Gospel Musician but my husband could not afford production fee charged by the leading music labels in Kenya. So, I decided to look for a job and shelved the dream of becoming a musician.I worked for a few years and then my husband asked me to resign from the Job and assist him in his online business which had started growing gradually.Today we are great partners and the business is running smoothly.

In future, I want to revive my Music career and record the songs I had already written.I also aspire to spend my free time as a volleyball coach in a local club as I am good at the game.

Thanks
Mercy

My Business

My Husband and I are partners in a business that we run online through Upwork marketplace platform. We offer Accounting and Research services,he heads the Accounting section and myself the Research section of the business.Since we started the business It has grown strength to strength and now we are servicing a long-term client base of about ten.Ranging from corporate to individuals from Europe,Australia,Canada and United States.

Through zidisha loans we plan to expand the business and create Jobs for the youths here in Kenya.

Loan Proposal

Hello Lenders,

I would like to thank you for the support accorded to our business. We used the proceeds of the previous loan to acquire a laptop and the work experience has greatly improved. The processing speed of the laptop has improved internet connectivity and we are able to service our clients better.

We now require another loan to shift our home business to a more spacious room. Current our home office is squeezed at a corner of our living room and sometimes we are not able to work effectively when we have visitors. We share office furniture and thus not able to work simultaneously. If we move to a more spacious house, it will be easy for us to add extra furniture and stop work in shifts in order to boost our monthly revenue further.

The cost of expansion is as follows:
Rent and deposit $400.00
Furniture $245.00
Total $645.00

A loan of $645.00 would be a great boost to our business. The balance will come from our savings from business profits. As always we promise to make our payments in time and regularly communicate on the progress of the business.

Regards
Mercy Muthoni

If your loan doesn’t fund, I encourage you to try again! Sometimes this happens when there are many good loans on Zidisha. Good luck!

    - D16 10 Pcs $280
    - D12 20 Pcs $340
    - D10 60 pcs $600
    - D8 50 Pcs $350
    - Binding Wire $37
    - Hacksaw Blades $5
    Thanking you in advance.

I have talked to my ca explain to her the importance of not skipping any repayment installment and she understood very well and promised that she's going to re-adjust the repayment installment and then over to the new schedule that she will have kept

Have to say I am very disappointed to see so little being repaid on this loan. Repayments are only 20% of what was initially promised.
Expected completion is now 2048 which is more than a little ridiculous.
I have funded several of your loans in the past but would have to seriously consider any future requests
