About Me

I am an artist. I dabble in many mediums. I'd like my ventures to be profitable but for that I need to start somewhere.

I left my job so I can be more involved in raising my child. I'd like to homeschool. So, I started painting shoes for sale, selling second hand books and making clothes. All these things I have taught myself to do. There are times when I get it right, but other times I fall flat on my face but seeing my son looking up at me for instruction and help and food and everything in between, I get up, dust off and try again.

My business relies on buying stock be it for materials or books, ahead of time. Sometimes, that cash is just not there between all the other responsibilities I must keep up with. Therefore, I need a little boost once in a whole to enable me launch the next project.

My Business

I was a copywriter for a digital ad agency and a painter, trailer and designer for my pet projects. I publish books, make furniture and clothes and films

Demand is there for the work I do but I do need some capital to set off. Since I dabble in many things, there is always work if I am well equipped and ready for it. I chose to work in art because it sorts out my depression issues and I get to work on multiple things at the same time while spending a huge amount of time with my son.
I found that at my past job, I didn't have time to breathe and I would get overwhelmed, anxious and depressed. Most of all, I was underpaid, unappreciated and I only got to see my son when he was already in bed and sometimes leave before he got up. It was frustrating.

I do need a boost here and there but most times I am able to handle buying materials and payiong bills and taking care of my home.

Loan Proposal

I'll buy some fleece material to service an order that's urgent at a wholesale price. I sew, so to maximize on profits, I need to buy the fleece wholesale.
The only way wholesale works for fleece is if you get large quantities at the factory and sometimes, like now, that cash is scarce.
This loan will not only help me get the material to service the current order but leave me with some fabric to use in subsequent orders.
