My name is samwel njoroge. I come from karuri, Nakuru County where I reside. karuri is approximately 28 Km from Nakuru Town on your way to Nyahururu where you reach a centre called maili saba you branch on your right, you take a rough road go past karunga centre to karuri centre and alight at mugumo. Ask for Njoroge wa Mureithi. I am a married man and a father of 5 children. They are currently in school the eldest being in university.
My Business
I am a farmer and own a 6 acre piece of land in Karuri which is inherited land. I plant wheat and after harvesting replace it with peas, tomatoes and carrots as I prepare for the next planting season. I buy 150 kgs of wheat seeds for planting. The total cost for wheat seeds is 12,000 shillings. I buy 150 kgs of fertilizers at 12,000 thus a total cost of 35,000 including labour and herbicides required. I harvest around 40 bags I sell each bag at 2700 and get a total of 108000 in a year. My annual profit is 73000 shillings from the other crops I get at least 30,000 shillings a year
