About Me

I live in Keringet, Nakuru County. I am a graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from the University of Nairobi. Getting stable jobs since then has been a challenge. I currently work with Old Mutual Kenya as a Financial Advisor in Nakuru. I have previously worked for Micro Africa as a sales Agent and for African Population and Health Research Center as a Research Assistant. Keringet is an upcoming town. It climate favors agriculture. The place is cold with relatively enough rains throughout the year.

My Business

As stated above I work for Old Mutual Kenya as a Financial Advisor. The job is commission-based and sometimes I may earn so little when the sales are low. I have therefore looked into other means to supplement my income. I have a phone shop in Keringet where I sell airtime, phones, and phone accessories. The business does well because of it is the headquarters of Kuresoi district. There is also money in circulation because of thriving agriculture in the area.
I am also a farmer. I have three acres of land, which I plan to put the whole of it into use by the end of the year. So far, one acre has potatoes. This is the main crop that does well here. Per month, I make an average of Sh. 30000. This year I plan to work more on agriculture as well as stock my business. This will only be possible with the help of Zidisha Community. Thank you.

Loan Proposal

I am grateful for this opportunity given to me to be part of the Zidisha team. With time, I look forward to growing my business to the next level through the help of Zidisha. I will use the loan to stock my shop with phone accessories and electrical accessories. My business is located in Keringet, Nakuru County. Doing business in this place is rewarding because of its strategic location and that it is the headquarters of Kuresoi District, thus it has many offices.
My aim is to make my business a unique one where customers get solutions pertaining the goods and services which I offer. I plan to use Zidisha loan to help me meet this goal.

Hi Zidisha Team. I am sorry for my delayed payment of my previous installments. I was faced with an emergency at home and i had to sort it out with the money I had. I would wish to reduce my weekly installments to 500 per week. My apologies

I am happy to report that the potatoes are doing quite well. I will be uploading some photos soon to show that. I am expecting to harvest by the end of October. At the moment, I am asking to reschedule my loan. The rains are really heavy, and it requires a lot of chemicals will is sprayed on weekly basis to prevent them from being affected by the rains. I am reducing my installments so that i can manage to buy the chemicals. I am confident of the production though. Thank you

I am kindly requesting to reschedule the loan to be paying Sh.400 as weekly installments. I had taken a loan of sh. 33,166 and at the moment i feel pressed if i continue making Sh. 980 weekly contributions. Thing will be well soon and i will go back to the initial installments. Your consideration will be highly appreciated. Thank you.

This is to all the lenders who funded my first loan: Crissr, dmirpuri, goodwithoutgod and Silver.
May you all be blessed for the good work you are doing to humanity. I am so grateful for the help you offered. You came at a time when it is really hard for a normal citizen to get a loan from the local financial institutions. In Kenya, the small business enterprises aand small scale farmers are strugling to make ends meet and hopefully one day cross over to the second level. This is worsened by the ever rising cost of living. With Zidisha now in place, I see hope. Hope that one day they will share one table with the rich in this nation. I see hope in the sense that we will no longer be manipulated by our financial institutions with their high interests on loans. Once more, God bless you all. THANK YOU.

I am requesting to reschedule the loan that i had chosen to repay unti 7th August, 2015. I had taken a loan of $100 and I feel a can comfortably shorten the repayment period by paying more monthly installments of Sh. 2000. I doing this because I am now working for another company that is paying me good money. This will shorten the period and help me apply for another loan so as to boost my projects. So far i am really happy for the entire Zidisha Community.
