About Me

My name is Charles Afum from Ghana. I studied Mechanical Engineering and graduated as Mechanical engineering Technician. I worked with Ghana Aluminium products as Technician from 1999 to 2005. I had an accident during my duty as a technician which resulted in my right hand fingers deformity. I decided to end my profession as Technician and from the little compensation the company offered me, i started a local production of Turpentine, wood preservatives and white glue in a 12ft x 12ft rented apartment. I have a new site in a few months i will move in there. God has bless me with two handsome boys who are willing to continue my unfinished profession . From a humble beginning that is how far God has brought me.

My Business

My main business is production of Turpentine, wood preservatives and white glue. I supply these products to hardware shops and painters. Risk taking is what i like most and my drive as a person. I am also a poultry farmer and planning to go into grasscutter farming. I do all these from my main business which is too much of a load for the growth of my main business.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to purchase maize and beans to prepare feed for my birds. And use part to start my grasscutter farm. 1bag of maize is 23dollars and beans is 25dollars. and 1kilo of concentrate is 18dollars. The rest will be used to purchase grasscuters at the cost of 12dollars that is 4pcs for the start
