My name Eneya Nalungwe born in 1980 in Lusaka Garden House. I completed my grade 12 level in Mufirila ,copperbelt pronvice where i was staying with my auntie after the passing on of my parents. I have to struggle moving up and down looking for the money for my school fees, until i finally met my friend who asked me to help her with her business. I leant alot in her business of selling second hand clothes and she also helped me to pay for my exams, until i completed. I am now married with 2 children but my husband has not been getting enough to support the family. So i had to look for some money and opened a business i knew better.I love playing with children and take them to jumbing castles and boat riding.Zambia is a good country it has been peaceful since independence.
I am currently selling second hand clothes called "Salaula" in our local language. its a good business where our community are able to have there cheap clothing of their choice. I am more experienced now since i know what type of clothing they want. In one bandle of Salaula, i am able to make $400 after spending $150 as capital. I have seen it to be growing fast and i think it will help me and the entire family with school issues which has been a problem to everyone, and non of us in the family has never been to college. so i am asking Zidisha to help so that i can manage to send my siblings to college and myself too.Hence i want to go to Tanzania's Darlasalaam to buy mini container of second hand clothing so that i can increase daily revenue as well helping my family financially.
I have made a budget of $600, where i will order 4 Bandles of Second hand clothing (salaula) so that i can make $1600 profit after selling in a month. and this will boost my business and i will have no problem in terms of clothing for my family and sending them to better schools. Thanks Zidisha Team.
