i studied engineering at the kenya polytechnic where i graduated with a diploma majoring in electronics,i went on to to do volunteerr work for kenya institute of education where i gained experience,i therafter decided to venture into business where i opened an electronics repair shop,i repair all forms of electonics.I thank my family for being very supportive during my start up.The business has had ups and downs but it has now stabalised thanks to dettermination and hardwork,i am able to lead a good life from the proceeds of the business,i have plans to further my education and prefarably expand my business to start selling electronics in the near future,i would wish to thank zidisha for this opportunity
i del in electronics repair from television, radio, fridge, mobile phones among other electronics,i started with a capital of 30,000 shillings from the savings i had,my clients mainly come from the neighbourhood,i beat competion by ensuring that i offer timely service which is of high quality,i also try to lower my prices so that customers may be satisfied.honesty in this business is the key,you have to ensure that you are honest so that your customers keep coming back,i normally charge from 250-2500shillings depending on the extend of the damage to the electronics and also the type of the electronics,
i plan to use the loan to expand my existing business i will spare 2.500 to buy car batteries which come in handy when there are black outs i will use a further 3,500 to buy a power guard which protects electronics when there is a power surge.when customers bring in their electronics and i am testing them it is very vital to take good care of them hence i need facilities to ensure that they are protected.this ensures that there is customers satisfaction.an additional 2500 shall be set aside for the purchase of cables.
