About Me

My name is Joseph Muna Gachoka and a resident of Kenlands Estate that is two kilometers west of Nakuru town. l am married with one kid who is primary school l am a trained veterinary doctor and after graduating from the college way back in the year 1999 and with no ready jobs in the market l joined my mother in business who has a agro-vet business here in town. This enabled me to have a first hand experience in business and later started my own agro- vet shop so as to earn a living and develop myself economically.l use my income to provide for my family as well as re-invest back to the business.During my free time l engage myself in sports where l play football in a local club in the Estate as well as spending time with my family and friends.

My Business

My business is located along the Mburu Gichua street of Nakuru town.mostly l deal with the livestock products as well as all types of seedlings. This is because there is a ready market from the farmers around and within Nakuru. To minimise on expenses l buy my stock direct from the companies as they are cheaper instead of buying from the middle men.l sell the products at a profit margin of 20% which enables me to make ks 20,000 as net profit after deducting business expenses such as rent. Since there is lot of competition here in town l make sure that my prices are affordable to the customers and l always exercise customer care so as to maintain them.At times l do offer home delivery for my customers who are out of town and who buy large quantities for sale.if my application is successful l will use the loan to buy more stock so as to increase my sales and expand the business.

Loan Proposal

Thank you lenders once again for giving me a chance to access funds. With the funds that I receive, I intend to now aggressively market my business at target market centres with the aim of driving up sales. Customers are streaming to my shop and this gives me a lot of optimism and confidence that business will be good. We have started the year on a dry spell when livestock is infected by communicable diseases and so am in the front line putting farmers in the know to mitigate such occurrences. I remain very hard working so that I can put the funds in proper use and get more returns. Thank you.

I called Joseph Muna but his phone number did not go through. I tried the community leader his number did not go through. Fortunately I tried one of the family members Antony Kamau who promised to call back immediately he finds him.
Will still keep in touch to know about his whereabouts.

thank you lenders once again. things were not good for me towards the end of last year but am happy everything is looking up and a new dawn has come. i had lagged behind in repaying my loan but am happy now that i have reconciled my account and is okay. the new year in this part of the world (nakuru, kenya) has started with a dry spell and this is not rosy for the livestock farmers who make a bulk of my customers as there are very many communicable diseases. i have seized the moment and am in touch with my customers selling drugs for therapeutic purposes/therapeutic preventive medicine. am optimistic that the year will be a blessing to me and our zidisha team.

thank you lenders once again for the good work that you are doing by empowering us and helping us eradicate poverty. the last two months have been challenging to me because i was unwell and was not able to go to my workplace or visit my customers. hard on the heels after getting well, i found a letter from my landlord stating that he had increased rent by 15% starting december 2013 with no prior notice and i had to top up my three months deposit with the same increment. i had to look for funds and reconcile my tenancy account. i have been late on remittances for the last two months but i am optimistic that i will catch up. thanking you very much lenders for your kind consideration.

thank you lenders once again for trusting me with your money. i have put every effort to make sure that my business excel. though the business environment remain conducive, the effects of the vat bill has a lot of negative effects and has really encroached on my profit margin. i am torn between increasing the prices and cushioning my customers so that i retain them. i remain very aggressive in marketing my products to my customers at the same time maintaining a positive feed back so that i am able to devise better ways of serving them better thus driving up my sales volume. i remain very optimistic and result driven. keep on doing the good work of transforming the lives of many small entrepreneurs. thanking you very much as always.

thank you lenders once again. my loan repayment information was gladly updated. as i stated earlier, vat bill has not been clarified and so i still continue to be a victim of unreasonable price hike. business is doing well and i continue to reap the fruits of your funds. there is a lot of uneasy calm in this nakuru and the greater rift valley area because of the ongoing international criminal court proceedings for post election violence suspects. there is a lot of talk but this has not slowed business in any way whatsoever. i continue to put my best forward regardless of everything and invest in business so as to achieve my objective of taking my business to the next level. keep on keeping on doing the good work.

thank you lenders once again. its exactly two months and one day since i started repaying the loan. i did pay my second installment yesterday though it has not reflected in my loan repayment page but i know that will be sorted out. there is a lot of confusion about the VAT bill and is in a big way affecting the way we are running our businesses. though pointers seem to be geared towards revising the bill, am remain optimistic that those bottlenecks will be sorted out. prices of products have really gone up and some unscrupulous business men have taken the advantage of hiking prices. i remain very aggressive and going on with my business. thanking you very much.

i feel very honored today as i approach paying my second installment of the loan i received from you lenders. though business has not been rosy, i am comfortable and at ease because the money is ready. i have made profits and i am going to pay without any tension or pressure unlike if i had approached local banks, shy locks or lending organizations out to make unreasonable profits with the disguise of giving credit. business continues to blossom and on good days some products favorable with customers like twiga lick fly off the shelves. this makes me happy because the more revenue stream, the handsome the profits and with the financial strength i will be able to tackle my obligations. thanking you all and nice weekend ahead.

opportunities like these ones are very rare in life and especially in this part of the world where am from. as i stated earlier, cold, wet and rainy season has set in in Nakuru and it environs and brings in mixed fortunes to most of my customers. whereas there is a boon of production for most of the livestock farmers, it is also a season when most animals diseases manifest themselves and take a toll. this hampers production and increases the cost of production for farmers. i remain very aggressive in dealing with my customers and helping them achieve maximum yields while trying very much to minimize the costs of production. thanking you all and pray for our continued co-operation.

its almost two months since i received funds from you lenders. i now striding with a lot of positive energy, confidence and hope as i go on with my daily business activities. the holiday season is over and most farmers are expected to source more markets for their produce especially schools and supermarkets. as demand for more produce increases, the demand for better services especially in livestock production increases. this is the time when we sell a lot of de-worming products for livestock as worms reduces milk and beef production. i have stocked these products in anticipation of a ready market and also doing aggressive marketing to promote my business. i remain very thankful.

once again am very thankful to you lenders. indeed a lot of water has passed under the bridge since i received funds from you. am very active on my part dealing with my customers and making sure that i get their feedback in order to know better ways of dealing with them. i am now able to get more supplies as and serve many customers than i used to do. most parts of nakuru and its environs keep experiencing rainfall and this is welcome especially to the livestock farmers who make the bulk of my customers. am now selling various products to them in efforts to maximize their earnings. i remain very optimistic that the favourable trend will continue. thanking you all.

thank you lenders once again. its been almost two months now since i received funds from you. i have paid the first installment with ease as proceeds from my business have been steady. i am in constant communication with my customers to make sure i get feedback and current updates on how better i can offer my services and ward off competition. though the cost of doing business remains high, am very optimistic and aggressive in my day to day business activities. farm owners still remain the backbone of my business as they are specific and precise in what they want. however, i treat walk in customers with respect they deserve and make sure they get the best services. thanking you very much

am always thankful to you lenders for letting me join your organization. i wish i had joined zidisha long time before but remains only a wish. This journey is not for the faint hearted but for those who are willing to go an extra mile. my agrovet business has already started feeling the positive effect of your timely cash flow and things are looking up. i am still committed to my customers and specifically the farm owners who are primarily my target market. am trying my level best to oil all my departments so that my business flourishes. as always thanking you for your assistance.

thank you lenders once again. It is almost a month since i received funds from you. I have already started feeling the positive effects of the funds. My sales volume are high and have already started making inroads to my next target market ie the home deliveries to large scale farmers. I have made few new contacts with new prospecting customers and have promised to be making deliveries on time. I aspire to have a stable financial trend that will cushion my business with competitors. The rains have set in and farmers especially those dealing with animal husbandry look forward to improved production. I task myself with the responsibility of making sure the animals are in good health.
