About Me

I am single and i live in watamu Timboni which is in kenya,am currently doing business in garment making having done tailoring and dress making. i started this business to be able to upkeep myself and also my parents.I did my class eight exams in the 2004 and passed well however my parents didnot have the cash to send me to secondary school and therefore opted to go for a course in garment making.the profits gained will be used to expand my business to increase revenue.

My Business

I am dealing in garment making.my services include mending and making of clothes for all people within watamu town which is a tourist populated town.My customers prefer me because am a specialist in garment making thats why is viable.risks are there when the season is low hence no tourists.I make kshs19,000/- monthly,pay rent kshs3000 and remain with about kshs16,000/-which is able to pay my loan.

Loan Proposal

i will use the loan to buy one new sewing machine which is about kshs 17,000.The remaining amount shall be used to buy more clothes and other materials for sell.This will help expand my business and generate more revenues and subsequently,i will be able to pay for my zidisha loan.besides this,i will also start training services for less disadvantaged girls within our community.I will also use it to buy second hand clothes for sale.One bale of clothes is about kshs 2,000 and it can generate about kshs 1200 profit per bale,this will alsoo add more value for the loan.
