my name is Josephine Wanjiku Karinga and am a resident of Kiti estate of Nakuru town that is off Nakuru- Nyahururu highway.am not married and do operate a small shop in the estate that l sell food stuff.l started the business after graduating from college.this is because jobs in the formal sector are hard to come by and l had to do something constructive so as to earn a living.starting a business was a challenge at first but with time l have seen it grow and do make good sales every day. l use my income to support my siblings who are still in college and develop myself economically.during my free time l like travelling.
the business is good here in Nakuru and especially the food business. This is because of the many people in the area.l normally sell cereals such as maize, rice, green grams, all types of flour, beans and fresh produce such as tomatoes, cabbages and fruits. This enables me to make a net profit of ks,15,000 per month. though there is lot of competition in the area l always make sure that my prices are affordable and my food stuff is of high quality. This enables me to sell all the food stuff as l try to ensure that they are fresh.if advanced with the loan l will be able to add more stock to my business hence increasing the sales.
i will use the loan to increase my stock that will meet the customers demand therefore increasing my profit.i will also do a little of renovation in my shop.i also have a school going child and the schools are opening this month,so i will also have some money to pay for his school fees.the loan will also be of grate help because it will help me to add on what i have to pay for my house rent and also the rent to my shop
