My name is Samwel Mwangi Ndungu. I reside in Solai near the shopping centre Plot Number 351 Solai Centre which also serves as the market place for the residence. I have a KCSE certificate and a certificate in computer application. I am a married man with four children who we live together as a family in the plot.
I have a shop at the centre where I sell a variety of items popularly known as Mali mali items and a common shop. Though the profit margin per item might be low, at the end of the day, I sell many items hence making a profit. I make a sale of about 1000 per day which when I subtract the expenditure gives me Kshs. 600 profit margin on daily basis which translate to ksh. 20000 per month from mali mali items and the shop. I also do dairy farming which produce milk for the family while the extra is sold. I sell about 4 litres of milk per day at ksh 40 per litre. I also farm maize, beans, potatoes and other greens for the family. I usually make about ksh. 30000 per season.
I will use the money lend to increase the stock of my business during this festive months so us to make sure that everything is present and at an affordable amount to my customers. I say this because at this time there is good harvest where many people are selling the harvest to cater for their needs.
