Am Dismas Koech Korir ,a first born in a family of six , My education ended up in Class eight and I majored in entrepreneurship. I borrowed capital to begin my business from my brother which I was able to open a phone accessories shop which I sell phone housing,batteries,handset,Simcard replacement to the neighbouring customers. Therefore I request zidisha for a little loan to boost my business in terms of capacity.
The business is situated at kipsingori village in UasinGishu county and has been in operation for over 1 year.
I started the business to fill a gap which existed at the location due to unmatched demand and supply.
With the zidisha loan, I will buy more stock which increases the supply in the locality and also meet the demand of various customers

As i previously mentioned, the business deals with phone accessories and other electronics,although competition exist in the area but i usually employ competitive tactics and also offer them at an affordable prices.
The business faces risks such as competition from similar businesses and also decreased purchasing power of consumer.
The business generates 50 USD in a month in terms of profit and 15 USD as expenses.
Currently, the business can sell around 50 units of handsets in a week and this is not sufficient to meet customers demand due to increased population.
The profit from the business i use it to increase the capital base of the business and the balance to educate my children.

Loan Proposal

Dear Lenders,
The previous loan made me overcome so many challenges of fund shortages and I congratulate my lenders once again for full support and corporation over the entire period.Once again,drafting my request for additional fund to support my business and to expand it to various regions.My budget for this time is as follows;
1)20 new phones Nokia type@ kshs 5,000 costing US Dollars 1000/.
2)10 Handsets @ kshs 100 costing US Dollars 10.
3)10 new Safaricom lines @ kshs 30 costing US Dollars 3.
Total cost in Dollars=1013.
This will increase my earnings further by 20 US Dollars and also enable me employ more people in the locality and hence improve their standards of living.
