About Me

My early life as Einstein was spent in Kenya, the western parts of the country at a place called Khayega. There i started my primary education from Std 1 to Std 8 and qualified for my high school education. I went to Musingu High School, a provincial school in the region and attained a credit for pursuing my undergraduate degree in commerce at the Technical University of Kenya. Here, i received a dynamic environment with a hands-on training that was preparing me to be an entrepreneur. All this long, my path through education was fully funded by the Government of Kenya under the Ministry of Devolution through the Constitution Development Funds. The most challenging bit was obtaining an employment that was sustainable. due to this i had to seek funds for youth development and SACCOs i had joined way back in campus to start my crockery business. The start was challenging. Finding the right place to place it was also quite a hitch. i then acquired a sub let premise at a subsidized costs of 25000KES per month.
Kenya is a unique land, with world destinations for tourist attractions and also boasts of the world's eighth wonder; the migration of the wilder beasts. It has an equatorial climate and rich in African culture with the 42 tribes it hosts. It is a peaceful nation with a growing economy in the East Africa region.
My local area in the country, Kakamega, hosts the equatorial forest in Kenya which has a vast experiences from bird watching, monkeys, insects, indigenous trees and above all, 'the crying stone' of Ilesi. My native region also practices bull fighting which makes it unique in the country.
Currently i have no children but siblings i take care of. This was the sole purpose i ventured into business, to assist my single mother take care of my brothers and sisters since am the eldest.
I have a passion for IT though I hold no Institutional-taught knowledge in the same. i have self taught knowledge that i keep improving every day.

My Business

My business is still in between inception and growth stages. Due to this fact, I am a full time merchant who depends highly on networking and local advertisement to ensure its accelerated growth. My life depends on it you know. Ha ha!
I offer my customers crockery and linen on a retail basis. The products range from cooking pans, pots, water bottles, plates, dishes, cutlery sets. They are unique products obtained from neighboring countries. I intend to also introduce traditional made pots and mats into my business.
Every other person who spots a unique piece of crockery grabs it or makes intentions of acquiring it before its stock lasts. This fact of consumer taste has ensured my business has maintained the demand for its products. i make advertisements though flyers and networking.
The major costs I incur are rent for my premises and restocking my products. i intend to obtain stock just in time to avoid storage costs. The place I'm currently undertaking my operations is limited. as a result i keep bulky part of the stock in my residential premises which is nearby. My Shop is sublet hence ensuring i have less rental expense to incur. I pay 25,000KES per month and i make at least 5 orders per year of restocking. An order may cost from 120,000 to 180,000 depending on the cost of the items out of stock. My anticipated revenue in a month less the expenses of restocking and rent is about 15000 to 45000. The profits vary depending on the time of the year, for example when the schools are reopening my customers tend to spend less on buying items like crockery due to school fees to be taken care of. This is the time i give offers if am i a position to, so as to boost my sales.
Part of my profits I use for catering for the basic needs of my family and upkeep. Then I take care of any pending liabilities to the business that are due and retain the rest for any emergencies and expansion purposes.
This is my crockery business in a flash!
But im applying the loan for my music passion

Loan Proposal

The Inventory Management System is a real-time inventory database capable of connecting multiple stores. This can be used to track the inventory of a single store, or to manage the distribution of stock between several branches of a larger franchise. However, the system merely records sales and restocking data and provides notification of low stock at any location through email at a specified interval. The goal is to reduce the strain of tracking rather than to handle all store maintenance. Further features may include the ability to generate reports of sales, but again the interpretation is left to the management. In addition, since theft does occasionally occur, the system provides solutions for confirming the store inventory and for correcting stock quantities.
The main goal of this System is to ensure consistent availability of supplies for consumers. Thus, Inventory Management System is directed toward owners of small to large stores, which is applicable to my business, who are responsible of maintaining sufficient goods on hand in a retail or manufacturing business. It can scale from a single computer running both client and server software up to multiple stores and warehouses.
