About Me

I am Reginah Nduku Mweloh.I am 28 years old,a mother of two children and a wife to Mr.Josephat Githui.I was born,brought up and went to school also in Kangundo,Eastern part of Kenya.After i completed my O level education,i was forced to drop in favor of our other small children who were still going to school in various classes.This forced me to have no hope in college.This made me to walk away and went to my Aunt here in Mweiga,Central part of Kenya and i started looking for an employment.After like one month time i got an employment in a farm in Kiganjo and it was strictly in farming, harvesting and ploughing the land.This made me to degrade myself and i was determined that one day,i will own my land for my own farming.This didn't turned to be right,instead,i got a humble husband who changed my minds in working for others.He later managed to take me to a nearby hair college for me to attain the knowledge of beauty.This happened and after 2 years i was able to attain my certificate in Hair & beauty .This is what made me to be determined to start my own salon and from that time i have employed two more ladies who we work along with them.Thanks

My Business

I am Reginah nduku Mweloh.I am a small scale business-lady here in Mweiga town.I own a salon by the name Flexies Beauty Point.It is in Witeithie building,mezzanine floor room 11B.It is in a strategic and busy place and i am proud to be offering the best services ever you can admire compared to my competitors within the town.I offer services like:braiding,weaving chemical application,Manicure & pedicure,Curl-kit,wash & set,styling among other services to make you beauty.For a normal week i can get a profit of between Kes.6,500 to Kes.10,000.This can be more once I buy a brand new hair drier machine
With the injection of some capital from the Zidisha Microfinance,i can do much better and also get more new clients due to my efficiency.Currently the implements i am using i had acquired them after the zidisha first loan ,although I had got more new clients at the moment making the services more faster,though I sometimes lease the Drier machine to style my clients from my competitor within the area.Am seeking for a boost to buy a brand new drier machine to cater for my daily clients coming for the styling and settings.The Drier machine will greatly boost my efficiency in my business and at the end it will increase my profit.Thank you all.

Loan Proposal

Thank you all the lending panel and the Zidisha team management for making my first loan a successful one.From the first loan,I was able to buy a blow-dry machine which has really put a new face to my salon and also fastens my services while attending to their hair for a beauty look.
I am back to you once again for my second loan to kindly request for a boost to buy a brand new hair drier machine.
The new Wahl hair Drier machine currently it costs at Kes.21,000.(In U.S.D-231)
Addition of 48 pieces of short hair weaves at a cost of Kes.3,500.(In U.S.D-38.50)
The remaining Kes.350.(In U.S.D- 3.80),will be for the matatu fare from town.Thank you.
I am humbly requesting all my lenders an the other willing lenders to participate in my loan funding to enable me buy the said hair drier machine and the weaves.Welcome all for the funding.Thank you in advance
