Am Jack Mwendwa,i was born and brought up in Uasin gishu in Uasin Gishu county in Kenya. I grew up helping my parents to do menial jobs, after school, during the weekends and during school holidays, and it helped me pay for my school fees as my parents were poor.I managed to attend high school from the little money we made from this menial jobs we did,Fortunately for me i got a well wisher who was a pastor at my church who paid for my college education at the Kenya medical training college in Eldoret.After my college i worked as a assistant in a local pharmacy for two years.I started my pharmacy shortly after that from the little savings i got.I love my town because people are friendly and there is lots of food..My hobby is making lasting friendship and reading new books.My daughter wants to be an actress when she grows up.
My Business
I buy and sell human medicine of all kinds according to the demand of my customers.Medicine is useful because when one falls ill they have to take medicine to be well, I have trained in this department and therefore am practicing what i have knowledge of.My main cost is the house rent and the cost of bringing in new inventory. I make slightly above ksh 20000 from my chemist ,and i reinvest this money back in the business and also to pay for my bills.
Loan Proposal
I will buy a new box of diarrhea medicine which will cost me $60, for a start, and the $40 , will be deducted as my membership fees. There is a lot of diarrhea at the moment in my neighborhood and i want to be able to supply the medicine especially for children.My profits will increase by 10% as the children will became more healthy and less dehydrated.
