About Me

My name is Timothy Kurgat. I am from Kapsoit village in Kericho county. I am currently 30 years old and married with two sons- Victor and Ben aged 5 and 2 years old respectively.
I was born in Kericho county, grew up here and later went to Ol Lessos Technical Training Institute in Nandi county for a certificate course in mobile phone repair.
I currently work in my shop selling accesories while repairing mobile phones for pay within the same shop.
My hobbies are adventure and watching movies.

My Business

My business is in mobile industry. I have a shop in kapsoit shopping centre in Kericho county along Kisumu road where I sell mobile phone accessories. I also repair mobile phones for pay within the same shop. My main customers are local residents and the demand especially for accessories is always there.
Currently most revenues go to consumption and is hard to save for reinvestments.
I am therefore planning to improve especially on mobile accessories that currently have good market.

Loan Proposal

So far one limitation has been the size of my inventory of mobile accessories. Since the business is my only source of livelihood, saving for new investments or adding stock is hard. So i would like to improve by adding more accessories.
Therefore I will use the $50 loan to buy new accessories for my shop.
Increased stock will improve profits which will enable me repay the loan with ease as well as save more for other projects

    Greetings everybody.
Sorry for the late repayments. There have been low business lately in town. Even with additional stock, my sales have been low. This April is better and I believe the business will pick soon.
    Thank you for your patience

    Hello lenders,
Thank you for trusting in me and financing my first loan. I purchased an additional stock and the business is yet to pick up. The sales are currently low and would therefore like to reschedule my next payment.
I would like to reduce the size of my installment to Ksh. 100 for the next few weeks. I am expecting a rise in my sales as from the onset of the new year and will be improving my repayment rate.
Thank you and you all have a great day.
